Hiya! I'm Sarah Cassidy (she/her).

I am a Chicago-based theater artist, vocalist, and songwriter. I've been performing original music since I was in middle school, and my love for theater blossomed shortly after I saw my first Broadway production on a show choir trip (Les Mis! Cried a lot!). I attended college in my hometown of Bloomington, Indiana, and graduated in May 2023 from the Jacobs School of Music with a Bachelor of Science in Voice Performance with an Outside Field in Musical Theater, and an O'Neill Certificate in Arts Administration. I was the only person in my graduating class to obtain this rigorous dual degree, and I am very thankful for the growth I gained from studying simultaneously in the conservatory and the theater department.

As a performer and writer, I treasure unabashed authenticity; the sincerity in total silliness; the beauty of simple moments of connection; and most importantly, artistic spaces that are inclusive and accessible. Offstage, I love hiking in big pine forests, playing video games with friends, shopping at refilleries, and eating the Wonder Years milkshake from Jojo's Shake Bar really fast.
